DRCC Presents: PAVING OVER PARADISE and the FOREVER CHEMICALS

Join us on Tuesday February 20th, 2024 at 7pm for a free screening of two Water Brothers documentaries at the Imagine Lakeshore Cinemas, 164 Commercial Blvd, Tecumseh, ON.

PAVING OVER PARADISE is a documentary about the importance and loss of wetlands in Southern Ontario. About three quarters of the wetlands that once existed in southern Ontario are now gone. This documentary explores how we we restore these vital habitats that are also some of our best natural defenses against the effects of climate change.

THE FOREVER CHEMICALS is a documentary about PFAS. The water-resistant properties of countless products we use every day is made possible by a group of toxic chemicals known as PFAS. Just how dangerous are these “forever chemicals” and are there safer alternatives?

Doors to the theater open at 6:30pm and the concession will be available to purchase drinks and snacks from. PAVING OVER PARADISE starts at 7:00 pm, and is approximately 26 minutes in length.
